I have been trying to make time to write the memories and stories I remember of my maternal grandmother, long since passed away. This is a great goal for me especially in the cold winter month of February!!

My goal will be to write 2 blog posts a week for the month of February all about my Grandma Cole. I know that my family will enjoy the tales of Grandma Cole...who I lovingly referred to as 'Big Grandma' as a child. She was a mountain woman of Virginia, born and raised in the 'holler' and had a giant personality! Maybe you will enjoy reading about her too!
